Former presidents praise Kerry's `record of service'

Edwards will arrive in Boston yesterday afternoon before his acceptance speech to the convention on today.

Kerry continues his cross-country trip to the convention with a morning event in Norfolk, Virginia, site of a huge Navy base, before watching his wife's speech while spending the night in Philadelphia.

Heinz Kerry, who sparked a mini-controversy on Monday when she told a Pittsburgh newspaper reporter to "shove it," has been practicing her convention speech on teleprompters while campaigning with her husband.
