Taiwan will participate in the 3rd Investmart of the APEC Forum in Vladivostok, Russia from Sept. 9 to 12, officials announced yesterday. The theme of this year's event is "Cooperation, Integration and Development." The four-day show will feature an exhibition of potential places to invest, an explanatory meeting about investing policy and a discussion of cooperation among investors. The Russian representative's office in the ROC invited Taiwan to take part in the event, officials from the Ministry of Economic Affairs said. Taiwan participants will have their own booth at the event. The ministry noted that Russia is devoted to promoting a balanced Asian and European development policy. Government officials, executives of enterprises and scholars from more than 20 APEC member countries will participate in the show, officials said.
