A murder case was solved yesterday when the police convinced the victim's mentally challenged son to tell the truth, the police say. The elderly man was reportedly murdered by the son's friends a year ago. But, because the victim had been suffocated with a pillow and sustained no observable injuries, the local medical examiner ruled that his death was from natural causes. The elderly victim, surnamed Wang, was allegedly killed because his son complained about the way the victim managed his son's money. The suspects reportedly suffocated the victim without the son's help because he changed his mind on the night of the murder. The suspects then threatened the son to keep the secret. The suspects also forced the mentally challenged youth to withdraw the family's savings from the bank and to loan them money.
