The ROC representative office in Moscow has requested that Russian authorities investigate allegations by a tourist from Taiwan who said he was robbed by three police officers during his visit in Moscow. Chiang Shun-feng (江順風), who visited Moscow on July 6, told a press conference in Taipei on Tuesday that he had been forced by three Russian police officers to get into a car while he was touring Moscow's famous flea market. Chiang claimed that the trio then robbed him of all his money and valuables in a deserted suburb some 2km away. An official of the ROC representative office said Tuesday that a Taiwan businessman in Moscow had informed the office of Chiang's case and provided the information related to the suspects involved.
