DPP positions named

The DPP has finalized the list of legislators who will take over the party's top jobs when President Chen Shui-bian (陳水扁) becomes its chair-man on July 21. Lo Wen-chia (羅文嘉), a longtime close aide to Chen, will be in charge of the department of culture and information, Lin Cho-shui (林濁水) will head the department of Chinese affairs and Hsiao Bi-khim (蕭美琴) will head the department of international affairs. Julian Kuo (郭正亮) will be executive director of the policy research and coordinating committee and Chen Zau-nan (陳昭南) will head the department of organizational development. The list was released by DPP Secretary-General Chang Chun-hsiung (張俊雄) and will be announced officially after Chen gives his approval.
