The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged nuclear powers India and Pakistan yesterday to resolve their differences through peaceful means. The ministry also said yesterday that international efforts could help to prevent the outbreak of an all-out war between the two longstanding foes. In a press release, the ministry expressed worries that a small-scale military conflict was likely. In addition, the ministry has set up a task force to monitor rising tensions between India and Pakistan and has also warned Taiwanese nationals not to visit the two countries.
