Cathay Pacific flight 403, which was scheduled to depart Taipei at 9:30am yesterday for Hong Kong, was forced to delay its departure for 45 minutes because of three missing passengers. Cathay Pacific authorities in Taipei decided to completely empty the plane of its 300 passengers, crew and cargo to make sure no dangerous articles had been placed aboard by the three men, whose luggage had been loaded. Nothing suspicious was found. Meanwhile, a Taiwanese man surnamed Chou who had originally boarded the aircraft, disembarked when called by his would-be two travel companions to an airport waiting room to join in a fight.
