The Bureau of Investigation's Taipei office yesterday arrested Lee Kuo-hsian (李國憲) on charges of smuggling 13.6kg of illegal drugs worth an estimated NT$50 million. Lee was arrested at the Chiang Kai-shek International Airport on Sunday night on his return from the Netherlands. The drugs were found in his suitcases. Investigators say that Lee worked with Yang Kuan-dee (楊坤棣) and Chang Jung-yu (張榮宇) who were arrested on May 3 for allegedly smuggling 4.2kg of heroin from Cambodia. However, they are still trying to find the mastermind. Yang and Chang are both college students.
