CKS International Airport managing director Wang Te-ho (王德和) allegedly favored specific contractors to win a bid for the airport's construction, a local newspaper reported yesterday. Prosecutor Hsu Ping-wen (許炳文), at the Taoyuan District Prosecutors' Office, summoned Wang and another three officials -- ? former chief of the maintenance team Chou Kuan-hai (周觀海), team members Po Szu-cheng (柏斯成) and Cho Chih-neng (卓至能) -- into questioning yesterday to explain their roles in the scandal. Investigators were also dispatched to raid specific contractors to investigate whether the case involves collusion and kickbacks.
