The New Taiwan dollar rose against its US counterpart yesterday at the Taipei foreign exchange market, increasing by NT$0.023 to close at NT$34.550.
The turnover totalled US$442 million, compared with Friday's US$679 million.
The local currency opened at NT$34.630 against the greenback and was fluctuated between NT$34.520 and NT$34.630 during the session.
