LANTERNS OF LUCK
A visitor walks through the Auspicious Prayer Lantern Forest at the Taiwan Lantern Festival in Hsinchu County yesterday. The lantern forest is designed in the shape of “zhu,” the Chinese character for bamboo and also the second character in the city’s name. The red lanterns represent persimmons laid out to dry in the county’s Sinpu Township.Mar 03, 2013
