PRETTY AS A PICTURE
Shen Hsin-ling, winner of this year's Presidential Education Award, yesterday stands with her camera in front of some of her many photos in Douliou, Yunlin County. Shen, who has been photographing subjects since she was 11, has spent more than NT$1.3 million in prize money and licensing and lecture fees on new cameras. She has photographed "grassroots heroes" in central and southern Taiwan.
