BIRD IN THE HAND
Taipei Zoo employee Wu Hsien-cheng, left, and veterinarian Wang Pao-jung yesterday use a model to rehearse handling injured red-crested crane ``Dan Dan.'' The bird will be sent to South Korea for release today. The bird was injured by gunfire at an air force base in Hsinchu in 2004.
