Retailers in Tainan City yesterday present reports from the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection stating that their Colgate toothpaste imported from China meets quality standards. Store owners were protesting an accusation from a Hualien County councilor last month that they were selling tainted Colgate toothpaste, forcing them to pull the products off the shelves.
