Wishing Tree
Members of the Taiwan Professors Association, the National Association of the Friends of Lee Teng-hui and other NGOs yesterday announce activities commemorating the 228 Incident on Feb. 28 at a press conference in Taipei yesterday. The activities will use ``electric wishing trees,'' an example of which is displayed at right, to symbolize the aspirations of the Taiwanese people.
