Smoke on the water

Fire is set to lantern boats yesterday at Keelung as part of the celebration of the Midsummer Ghost Festival. It was the first time that the lanters were carried and released by fishing boats, in a ritual ushering ghosts ashore for feasts prepared for them.Aug 31, 2004
