Grand Hyatt Taipei’s director of marketing communications Luanne Li (李佳燕) said its Bel Air Restaurant has sent 1,000 couples to the altar since its grand opening 21 years ago.

The record was set last Chinese Valentine’s Day (the seventh day of the seventh lunar month) with the near-40 ping (132m2) restaurant accomodating four -proposing -couples at the same time, she said.
