A Reuters report published in the Taipei Times on Monday, which quoted judo coach Jimmy Wu (吳正明) as saying he had trained a young Osama bin Laden in Saudi Arabia in the early 1980s, has been withdrawn by Reuters after Saudi judo officials challenged the account. They also said that a photograph provided by the coach, which he said showed him with bin Laden wearing a judogi, had portrayed another man who was training Saudi judo athletes at the time.
