In Monday’s issue (“Cellulose-derived bioalcohol nears reality,” page 2), the subhead erroneously said that the manner in which more bioalcohol can be created from cellulose lies in simplifying the distillation process. The text should have read “simplifying the pretreatment process.” The Taipei Times regrets the error.
