Premier Su Tseng-chang (蘇貞昌) yesterday ordered authorities to review within three months the feasibility of allowing more Chinese professionals to come to the country. Su said that enriching the country's talent pool, including encouraging cross-strait talent exchanges, was one of the measures covered by the Cabinet's "mega investment" project aimed at increasing Taiwan-bound investment. As the free flow of talent across the Strait is unrelated to the sensitive "one China" issue, Taiwan can take a more positive approach in dealing with such matters, the premier said during an interpellation session in the Legislative Yuan.
