According to the official, Hsiao was re-elected as one of the five LI vice chairpersons during the organization's 54th Congress which took place between Nov. 8 and Nov. 11 in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh. Hsiao's re-election demonstrates LI 's recognition of the DPP's contributions to global democratic development, the official said.
