A Vietnamese maid tried to commit suicide by jumping from a school building after allegedly killing her employer in Nangang District, Taipei, yesterday, police said. The woman was listed in critical condition after being rushed to the Tri-Service General Hospital. Police said their initial investigations showed the maid killed her employer, a 67-year-old woman, with a knife at around 9am. She then went to a nearby junior high school and jumped from one of the buildings. Police are still investigating the murder.
