The film Blue Cha Cha won the top prize, the Grand Award of All Categories, at the 33rd International Independent Film Festival, which wrapped up on Sunday in Brussels, Belgium. Taiwan was the theme country of this year's film festival, a showcase for independent filmmakers whose works often have little chance of finding their way into the existing distribution networks. In addition to the film directed by Cheng Wen-tang (鄭文堂), five other films from Taiwan were featured at the festival, which kicked off Nov. 4, including director Wang Ming-tai's (王明台) Falling in Love.
