The Council of Agriculture (COA) is planning to sponsor an exposition of high-end locally produced agricultural goods at the end of this year as a way of promoting the domestic industry. According to a COA spokesman, the council is making preparations to hold the agricultural product expo from Dec. 29 to Jan. 1, at which 100 items of top quality agricultural goods will be on display. In addition to inviting the general public, the spokesman said the COA will also invite business executives to visit the expo in the hope that they will purchase locally produced agricultural products to present in their gift bags for customers and workers during the coming holiday season.
