The National Science Council has earmarked NT$18 million (US$540,000) for a National Chengchi University research team's three-year project to develop an artificial intelligence household system, officials said. Using wireless sensing units and portable bio-sensors, the system would be able to perceive householders' moods and conditions to offer timely service, such as playing music or adjusting the indoor temperature or humidity, according to a report from the university.
