The British Trade and Cultural Office (BTCO) yesterday announced its annual scholarships for Taiwanese students seeking higher education in UK. Taiwanese between the ages of 25 and 35 who have never studied in the UK can apply for the five scholarships, which are worth a maximum of ?12,000 (NT$736,800) for one year of study toward a masters degree. Applicants must have at least three years of work experience in the field they wish to study for their masters. The deadline for applications is Dec. 15.
