Government Information Office Minister Cheng Wen-tsang (鄭文燦) yesterday left for Seoul, South Korea, on a trip to promote the entertainment industry in marketing the nation's video products. Cheng will attend the sixth "Broadcast Worldwide, BCWW 2006," a business conference in Asia for television programs, starting from today. The group attending the conference includes representatives from eight domestic TV firms who will promote their programs to South Koreans. During the three-day conference, the group will arrange a "Taiwan Night" to introduce the programs and will also promote a television broadcast festival to be held in Taipei from Nov. 23 to Nov. 25.
