New York Yankees pitcher Wang Chien-ming's (王建民) agent Alan Chang (張嘉元) yesterday said that Wang had decided to accept interviews from the Taiwanese press again. "Whatever happened is over. [Wang] wishes to establish good relations with the press and the most important thing of all is that everyone can look forward," Chang was quoted as saying in a report by the Chinese-language United Evening News yesterday. Wang on Aug. 17 issued an open letter announcing that he would no longer accept any interviews from the Taiwanese media because of the media scrum caused by his revelation that he had been adopted in a recent interview with the New York Times.
