Minister of Foreign Affairs James Huang (黃志芳) left for Central America on Sunday to visit three of the nation's diplomatic allies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said yesterday. They are Panama, Costa Rica and Honduras, the ministry said in a statement. Huang, who is scheduled to return on Saturday, plans to meet with national leaders and ranking officials in the three countries and to discuss cooperation projects. In Panama, Huang is scheduled to chair the ministry's ninth regional meeting with diplomatic personnel stationed in Central America, Southern America and the Caribbean, the statement said.
