STAFF WRITER WITH CNA

Noted US reptile expert Brady Barr will share his experiences, particularly those with wild crocodiles, in a seminar to be held in Taipei on July 24, Forestry Bureau officials under the Council of Agriculture said yesterday. Barr, known as the first person to capture and study all 23 species of crocodile, will display a collection of pictures featuring his 15-year, 50-country adventure to study and conserve wild crocodiles during the symposium, said the officials. The bureau will cooperate with the National Geographic Channel to sponsor the seminar, the officials said, adding that the TV channel has produced a film series to introduce Barr's achievements.
