An environmental protection group expressed anger yesterday after police said they would crack down on a nude event planned for tomorrow to highlight opposition to the Fourth Nuclear Power Plant. The group was responding to an earlier warning by the police that, in line with regulations governing assembly, the group should have applied to Rueifang (·çªÚ) police station one week prior to the activity. Since the group has not done so, police will act accordingly, Juifang police officials said. Ho Tsung-hsun (¦ó©v¾±), secretary general of the Taiwan Environmental Protection Union, said the group has asked the public to pose nude and display the words "No Nukes" on Fulung Beach near the plant site tomorrow.
