Taiwan Quick Take: Economic forum dates set

Vice Premier Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) announced yesterday that a conference on Taiwan's sustainable economic growth will be held on July 27 and 28. The conference is aimed at revving up the country's sustainable growth. It had been scheduled to be held this month. Council for Economic Planning and Development Vice Chairman Yeh Ming-feng (葉明峰) said the conference was delayed to give the government more time to prepare the agenda and seek opposition parties' support for the meeting.
