Taiwan Quick Take: Mom's day calls are free

Chunghwa Telecom will offer toll-free calls allowing foreign spouses of Taiwanese citizens to phone their mothers overseas on Mother's Day, company officials said yesterday. The service will be available from 11am until 3pm today at the Chunghwa Telecom branch office on Aikuo East Road, Taipei, where a Mother's Day fair will be held, they said. The company has also organized similar activities in various locations around Taiwan.
