A prosecutor refused yesterday to comment on a news report that residue of a rare toxic substance was found in the body of the only fatality in a train derailment on the South Link railway line on March 17.
An official from the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors' Office told the media that a clear explanation of the death of Chen Hong-chen (

According to a firefighter who was on the scene at the train derailment, Chen did not appear to be injured when he saw her sitting on the rails after crawling out of an overturned carriage. She was sent to hospital believed to be suffering from shock, where she later died, the firefighter said.
The derailment of the express train with more than 200 passengers onboard was caused by sabotage.
