Lieberthal visits Taiwan to speak at China seminar

Kenneth Lieberthal, former US National Security Council senior director for Asian affairs, arrived in Taiwan yesterday for a four-day visit.
Lieberthal, at the invitation of the Mainland Affairs Council (MAC), will attend a seminar on grassroots democracy in China held at the Institute of International Relations and deliver a speech. Also attending will be MAC Chairman Joseph Wu (§d¬LÀè) and various academics.
