Lu invites Junior Chamber to join August assembly

Vice President Annette Lu (§f¨q½¬) yesterday invited Harish Kumar, vice president of Junior Chamber International (JCI) , to come to Taiwan to attend the second Democratic Pacific Assembly in August.
Lu also extended the invitation to other JCI officials to attend the assembly of the Democratic Pacific Union, which she founded. Kumar said he supports regional cooperation and exchanges, especially since the Taiwan Junior Chamber is seeking to host the organiza-tion's Asia-Pacific Conference in 2007.
