"The fever checkpoints will help relieve the burden of the emergency units, which might otherwise be completely occupied by one single patient with a fever, he said.
"The checkpoints could be set up in mobile shelters or cargo housing units adjacent to the emergency rooms, and manned around the clock," Ma said.
