Yu to push tech-protection bill

WAFER WRANGLING Six TSU lawmakers met the premier to push for tougher rules on chip-technology exports, while the president urged passage of a related bill

Nevertheless, DPP legislative caucus leader Ker Chien-ming (柯建銘), who attended Chuang's press conference, said that he is optimistic that the bill will pass in the next session.

"I'm sure the bill will pass before the government is due to conduct the second-phase review of the TSMC project," he said.
