NCKU joins antimatter search

SPACE STUDIES National Cheng Kung University announced yesterday that it will be joining the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer to help in the project's aim of learning more about the beginning of the universe

NCKU scientists will officially join the AMS02 building project next March in England. After the completion of the AMS02, NCKU scientists will relocate with the machine at NASA in Houston in the US to test magnetic fields created by it.

In April of 2004, NCKU scientists will station in Switzerland to carry out comprehensive testing. The AMS02 is expected to conduct experiments in space in 2005.
