Credit reform pits DPP against opposition camp

Chen noted it is more urgent to tackle problematic commercial banks whose loans without sufficient collateral amount to NT$803 billion as of the end of last year.

"The government should shut them down before dealing with the farmers' and fishermen's associations," he said.
