Tsai said that the government considers that it is the mutual responsibility of the government and industry to improve the training of information personnel to meet increasing demand.
In the past, both the government and industry have seen the difficulties that many university or college-trained information personnel have had in not being able to find suitable jobs after graduation due to the gap between academic learning and the reality of working in industries.
On the other hand, many information personnel working in industrial establishments have difficulties updating their knowledge because they have no access to on-the-job training.
The task group in recent years has borrowed experiences from countries with competitive software industries such as India, and have made a thorough review of the training systems for software personnel, according to Tsai.
