Inaction on direct links criticized

Looking at the matter from another angle, Lee Mi (李彌), an analyst of cross-strait transportation, said China's delay in talking about the matter may be because of opinions voiced by its different interest groups.

"Not all Chinese support direct transport links with Taiwan. Once Taiwan has direct transport links with China, Taiwanese airline companies may have opportunities to share in the Chinese domestic flight market." Lee said.
