Russo Institute of Technology and Russo English Language Centre

The Russo Institute of Technology and Russo English Language Centre have now been open for 24 years, providing the best and most famous job training and university pathway programs in Queensland.

The Russo Pathway to University allows students to complete a Diploma in less than 1 year, which allows them entry into second year university at Griffith, QUT, USQ and many others. The real benefit of studying at Russo is that students have a choice of options when they graduate -- join the workforce (with the help of Sarina Russo Job Access) or continue on to their choice of university.

RIT currently offers courses in Business, Information Technology, Hotel Management and Tourism. All courses offer students the outcome of second year university entry OR entry into the workforce. Students must have completed year 11 or 12 in Australia or equivalent in their home country and must satisfy Russo English requirements. Students who have completed up to year 11 (but not year 12) are required to study a certificate III or IV course prior to starting diploma, while high school finishers can begin the diploma course immediately.

The connection to RIT does not finish when the student successfully graduates and leaves the institution. All Russo students automatically become members of the Sarina Russo Job Access Network, which helps students match their skills and education background with available jobs in Brisbane, Melbourne and parts of NSW. RIT are proud to announce that for the last 2 years, 100% of Russo graduates have either found jobs themselves or been successfully placed into work by the Sarina Russo Job Access Network.

Life at RIT is similar to the traditional university experience: students attend morning lectures in RIT's lecture theatres, and attend afternoon tutorials in the classrooms. Russo's 12-floor campus building in the Brisbane CBD is large enough to offer courses to a large number of students, while still allowing RIT to provide excellent student facilities such as computer labs, student recreational areas and an international centre to assist international student issues.
