    Urgent Call for Registration

    Friday, Jun 13, 2003, Page 6

All Britons in Taiwan are encouraged to register to the British Trade and Cultural Office (BTCO) as soon as possible. Registration allows the office to contact British and unrepresented nationals in the event of emergency. Without registration, the BTCO is unaware of the national's presence in Taiwan. Once registered, one's contact detail will be forwarded to his/her local British warden who has agreed to pass information and advice from the BTCO through the warden network. On receipt of a national's registration, the warden's information will be provided. All registration details held by the BTCO are held in strictest confidence and are used for contingency planning and contact purposes only. Please contact BTCO if you have not yet registered, or if your contact details have changed. You can either register online on the BTCO website or by contacting the BTCO's British Assistance and Services Section (BASS) at (02) 2192-7040 with Alan Dillon or (02) 2192-7056 with Sandy Fan.
