Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) is holding a Wonder Macau Festival at the Victoria Square, Breeze Center from November 22-24. This is the first time ever for this major event to be opened to the general public in Taiwan.

Macau has also been known as a destination filled with romantic southern European ambience. It is a city where eastern and western influences met long ago and continue to coexist in harmony for centuries. The bequest of those glorious bygone days can be seen in pastel-colored palaces, baroque-style churches and temples, imposing fortresses with silent cannons, winding narrow streets and the people, who created a unique blend of two cultures, the Portuguese and the Chinese.

Macau's charm remains in the mixture of cultures. Cobblestone squares such as Leal Senado and Lilau, churches like St. Joseph's Seminary and St. Lawrence's, fortresses such as those on Monte and Guia Hills, and places like Praia Grande and Santa Sancha that are reminiscent of a peaceful town in southern Portugal.

Macau is the blend of cultures, people, aromas, flavors, styles, and unique characteristics that distinguish it from its neighboring cities.

The famous Macanese artist as well as the goodwill ambassador of Macau Government Tourist Office Miro Wong will be the host for this year's Wonder Macau Festival. Miro is a rising star in the entertainment business in mainland China. His humor and friendly smile guarantee a great time and a convivial atmosphere.

Moreover, one of the top Macanese music groups, Tuna Macanese, will be staging live performances at the Breeze Center to fill the plaza with an exotic foreign ambience for the three days.

One of their performing songs, Sino-Portuguese Touchy, has won many awards in various countries such as America, Canada, Japan, Singapore, and Australia.

The event will not only feature singing performance, Chinese pastries sponsored by Chui Heong Yuen in Macau will be offered for tasting. Additionally, different types of giveaways are also available to satisfy everyone's shopping needs.

For those who want more excitement, Macau Government Tourist Office has also planned quizzes with various prizes for the audience, prizes include free return tickets to Macau.
