Ondrej Palat and Anton Stralman both scored twice, while Tyler Johnson had a goal and two assists as the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-3 on Friday for their eighth consecutive home win.
Tampa Bay, 10-1 overall since Jan. 8, also got a goal from Alex Killorn. Nikita Kucherov had two assists to give him a point in 21 of his last 25 games (17 assists, 32 points).
Patric Hornqvist, Sidney Crosby and Matt Cullen scored for the Penguins, who had a four-game winning streak end and lost in regulation for just the fourth time in 18 games. Marc-Andre Fleury was pulled midway through the second after allowing four goals on 14 shots and replaced by Jeff Zatkoff.

Crosby moved within one point of becoming the 106th NHL player to reach 900 points. If he gets the point in his next two games, Crosby will become the 10th-fastest to the milestone.
After getting outshot 10-1, the Lightning tied it at 1 when Stralman scored on Tampa Bay’s second shot of the first period at 11 minutes, 50 seconds.
Tampa Bay went ahead 2-1 on their fifth and final shot in the first on Killorn’s redirection with 1:26 left. Tampa Bay’s Ben Bishop stopped 11 of 12 Pittsburgh shots during the first. Bishop finished with 27 saves.
Palat made it 3-1 on a short-handed breakaway goal at 6:04 of the second. Palat also scored with 4:05 to play before Stralman added an empty-netter.
Ducks 5, Coyotes 2
In Anaheim, California, Corey Perry and Andrew Cogliano scored less than two minutes apart early in the third period to break open a tie game as the Ducks beat the Arizona Coyotes 5-2 on Friday night for their season-high sixth straight victory.
Hampus Lindholm and Mike Santorelli scored 66 seconds apart in the second period, Patrick Maroon had a power-play goal and two assists, and Frederik Andersen made 23 saves. The Ducks, who were coming off Thursday’s 4-1 victory over division-leading Los Angeles, are 13-3-1 since losing back-to-back road games to the Islanders and Rangers.
Shane Doan had a goal and an assist for Arizona, Tobias Rieder also scored and Anders Lindback stopped 36 shots. The Coyotes are 2-6-2 since a season-best four-game winning streak.
Hurricanes 5, Jets 3
In Winnipeg, Manitoba, Phillip Di Giuseppe, Andrej Nestrasil, Jordan Staal and Justin Faulk scored in the first period as the Carolina Hurricanes held on against the Jets.
The Hurricanes scored four times on their first nine shots, taking a 4-0 lead just 10:04 into the game. Nestrasil added another goal in the third period, and Cam Ward made 33 saves.
Alexander Burmistrov, Andrew Ladd and Blake Wheeler scored for Winnipeg. Jets rookie Connor Hellebuyck allowed three goals while facing only six shots before being replaced by Michael Hutchinson. Hutchinson, who had not played since a 4-1 loss in Anaheim on Jan. 3, finished with 21 saves.
Blue Jackets 2, Flames 1
In Calgary, Alberta, Columbus rookie William Karlsson broke out of a slump with two goals to lead the surging Blue Jackets past the Calgary Flames.
Karlsson scored the go-ahead goal 1:42 into the third period, taking advantage of a miscue by Dougie Hamilton. The 23-year-old Karlsson entered the night with just one goal in his previous 30 games.
Columbus picked up six of eight possible points on a four-game road trip, and are 4-1-1 in their last six.
Jiri Hudler scored at 7:09 of the opening period for the Flames, who have lost four of their last five.
