Who killed ‘E Germany’s Beckenbauer’?

MYSTERY:Very high levels of alcohol were found in Lutz Eigendorf’s blood after his death in a car crash, but eyewitnesses said he had drunk only a few beers

Kaiserslautern’s chairman Norbert Thines helped hide the political refugee immediately after his defection.

“I am convinced that he was murdered by the secret police,” Thines said.
