It was also a good day on court for the soft tennis players with Taiwan picking up two medals. Yang Sheng-fa won the bronze in the men’s singles and in the women’s singles, Chiang Wan-chi also took the bronze.
In the weightlifting, Taiwan’s Wang Ya-jhen took the bronze medal after she lifted 100kg in the snatch and 133kg in the clean and jerk. Sinta Darmariani of India took the silver with 101kg in the snatch and 137kg in the clean and jerk, while China’s Liu Chunhong lifted 110kg in the snatch and 132kg in the clean and snatch for the gold.

Taiwan’s Wu Tzu-yi also won a bronze medal in the women’s 60kg sanshou.
Meanwhile, South Korean star Park Tae-hwan blitzed the field to collect his third gold medal in the Asian Games pool.

On the last day of track cycling action, Malaysia also got among the medals with Azizulhasni Awang winning the men’s Keirin ahead of Josiah Ng.
Following two spectacular smashes in the women’s points race on Tuesday, there was more drama when Iran’s Mohammad Parash took a heavy fall after running into the prone Zhang Lei.
Parash was sent flying head first over his handle bars and had to be stretchered off in a neck brace.
