Sidney Crosby scored two power-play goals 90 seconds apart in the third period as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-1 on Saturday.
In 17 regular-season games in Philadelphia, Crosby has 13 goals and 28 points. Overall against the Flyers, the Penguins captain has posted 26 goals and 59 points in 33 games.
Mark Letestu, Chris Kunitz and Matt Cooke also had goals for Pittsburgh, who won their second straight to improve to 3-3 this season. The Penguins beat the New York Islanders in overtime on Friday night for their first victory in their new home arena.
Danny Briere gave Philadelphia a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal after 6 minutes, 43 seconds of the first period.

In Newark, New Jersey, rookie Jordan Caron sparked Boston’s four-goal second period with his first NHL goal, while Tim Thomas made 31 saves in a win over New Jersey.
Michael Ryder, Shawn Thornton and Milan Lucic also scored for the Bruins, who played their first game since opening the season by splitting two games in the Czech Republic against the Phoenix Coyotes.
Dainius Zubrus scored for the Devils, who are winless at home.
Islanders 5, Avalanche 2
In Uniondale, New York, Milan Jerkin scored twice and Dwayne Roloson stopped 28 shots as the New York Islanders beat Colorado.
Josh Bailey, Michael Grabner and John Tavares also scored for the Islanders, who won their second straight at home.
Chris Stewart and T.J. Galliardi had goals for the Avalanche.
Craig Anderson, playing for the second straight night, made 20 saves.

In Sunrise, Florida, David Booth had two goals for Florida, who jumped out to a big lead and handed Tampa Bay their first loss of the season.
Cory Stillman, Booth, Steven -Reinprecht, and Dennis Wideman each scored in the first period. Booth added his second and Rostislav Olesz also scored in the third.
Florida’s Tomas Vokoun made 29 saves in the Panthers’ home opener, earning his second shutout of the season and the 40th of his NHL career.
Canadiens 4, Senators 3
In Montreal, Tomas Plekanec scored the tiebreaking goal with 3 minutes, 59 seconds remaining to give Montreal a win over Ottawa.
Plekanec put a rebound from Andrei Kostitsyn’s shot past Brian Elliott as Montreal rallied from a 3-1 deficit after Ottawa scored two goals 53 seconds apart midway through the second period.
Kostitsyn tied it at 3-3 late in the second after Jeff Halpern got the Canadiens’ comeback started with his second goal of the season.
Brian Gionta also scored and Carey Price made 16 saves for Montreal, who won 2-1 in Buffalo on Friday.
Milan Michalek had two goals and Erik Karlsson also scored for Ottawa. Jason Spezza and Daniel Alfredsson both had two assists.
Capitals 3, Predators 2, OT
In Nashville, Tennessee, Brooks Laich tipped in Alex Ovechkin’s slap shot after 1 minute, 44 seconds of overtime, finishing Washington’s rally to a win against Nashville.
The Capitals trailed 2-0 heading into the third period, but Alexander Semin and Tomas Fleischman scored to force overtime.
J.P. Dumont and Jordin Tootoo scored for Nashville.
