Substitute Bafetimbi Gomis scored in the 85th minute as Lyon maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 draw at Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.
Although Gomis got the equalizer, it was goalkeeper Hugo Lloris who kept Lyon in the match with several outstanding saves.
PSG went ahead in the 30th minute through Ludovic Giuly when he deflected striker Guillaume Hoarau’s shot past Lloris from close range.
PSG had chance after chance to put the match out of Lyon’s reach, but could not find a way past Lloris. That wastefulness was ultimately punished when Gomis scored for Lyon from close range when he appeared to be offside.
Earlier, Etienne Didot and Moussa Sissoko each scored as Toulouse beat Le Mans 2-0.
Didot put Toulouse ahead in the 25th minute when France striker Andre-Pierre Gignac broke into the penalty area and pulled the ball back. Sissoko made it 2-0 when he collected a pass from Didot and lobbed goalkeeper Didier Ovono.
Meanwhile, 10-man Lille earned a 1-1 draw at northern rivals Lens with a last-gasp header from defender Adil Rami.
Rami salvaged a point in the fourth minute of injury-time after Razak Boukari had scored for the hosts in the 57th minute.
